70 YEARS OF TRADITION IN SHIPBUILDING.
Founded in 1950 by Guy Ocqueteau, the company is part of the history of French nautical industry. Ocqueteau was acquired in 1987 by the Jeanneau group and regained its freedom in 1995 after the Bénéteau group had acquired Jeanneau.
Ocqueteau is the last shipyard to have retained the traditional inboard diesel propulsion in its range on a 7 m. unit (the Ostrea 700). All its hulls are made by infusion. This process limits resin consumption and polluting emissions. But thanks to vacuum infusion manufacturing, the hulls of all the boats are 20 to 30% lighter.
For 70 years, Ocqueteau has been a recognized value in the motorboat market (fishing and cruising range) thanks to its outstanding seaworthiness and the extraordinary strength of its boats.
